PSP40416 Certificate IV in Government Investigations
We deliver the PSP40416 Certificate IV in Government Investigations to Local Land Services Officers throughout NSW. We deliver a contextualised course that gives effect to not only the Biosecurity Act 2015 but also the Local Land Servies Act.
The training includes contextualised workplace simulations around the Biosecurity Act and protection of Travelling Stock Reserves. The officers gain an undertaking of the regulatory tools available, including monitoring compliance with TSR Permits. The training incorporates the importance of the learners understanding civil and administrative remedies, in addition to proposed criminal action.
The course is delivered over 7 days comprising two workshops of 3 and 4 days, with the latter being Face-to-Face.
The second workshop is delivered Face-to-Face. This provides the learning environment for the officers to fully develop their skills and understanding of complex legislation, particularly the Biosecurity Act 2015. The Face-to-Face component includes a half day on deal with conflict and developing tools to de-escalate conflict, including applying safe entry and exit protocols according to remote and lone worker policies.
The training will also include content on the Public Spaces (Unattended Property) Act including Giving Directions under Section 28 and how to deal with property taken into possession.
The trainer and assessor will provide direct feedback to Management at the completion of the course, in line with our client centred approach to design and delivery.
