We apply a client centric approach and work with you to design a course that meets the needs of the organisation and develops the skills and capabilities of the learners. We have extensive expertise to provide contextualised bespoke training programs that are delivered to build the necessary skills and capabilities of the leaners in a positive and motivated training environment.

We are able to provide high quality services through a culture of ethics, integrity, support, engagement and placing the organisations and learners needs and requirements front and centre. Our training programs always seek to create a positive and respectful training environment. Nothing pleases us more than developing knowledgeable and confident officers able to carry out their functions safely and effectively.

Our staff and trainers and assessors have worked with over 5000 public sector learners from a diverse range regulatory agencies and departments.

Project Management: Our Commitment

There is no one project management tool or approach that meets the needs of investigation and compliance training. The management of the project is critical to achieving a successful outcome. Our project management approach applies the following critical elements, with each of these elements underpinned by deep consultation and engagement with the client.

Most importantly, our expert administrative staff are able to support the client, learners and trainers and assessors to ensure successful training outcomes.

OCCIE Project Management Model for Regulatory Learning and Development

This approach is a hybrid of the ADDIE Model and the Outcome Based Project Management and supports the outcomes the agency or department is seeking to achieve. OCCIE© has been developed by Adjunct Professor Roger Ilitch and CEO to meet the project management of public sector training programs which has distinct elements and characteristics. The approach reflects the professionalisation of regulatory work and where regulation intersects with policy and programs.

1. Defining the Outcomes and learner cohort of the project.

What outcomes have to be achieved for the learner cohort?

2. Identifying the core skill sets and Capabilities required for the leaners to carry out their functions, duties and powers.

What are the officers core skills sets and capabilities and what level is required – Basic, Intermediary or Adept?

3. Designing the Contextualised program to the skill sets and capabilities.

What are the contextualisation tasks and how will design look?

4. Implementation through delivery and assessment by expert regulatory educators, providing learner support throughout the delivery phase.

By who and how will the program be implemented?

5. Evaluation of the program.

Were the outcomes achieved through analysis of feedback and how can the program be improved?

We will work through these questions at our first meeting.
